Remember life before Google? It’s amazing how quickly it’s become the place you go when you need to find just about anything.

So, it goes without saying, when a company’s potential customers turn to Google, or any other search engine, looking for the product or service they provide, the more prominent the results, the better.

Well, climbing up that mountain of results can be an arduous, even bewildering journey. To succeed, you need an experienced guide by your side with killer instincts and a sixth sense – an ever-curious search engine companion who knows the way and who’ll take your hand while confidently saying, “Come with me.”

That’s exactly how we see ourselves at Kahena.

To be perfectly honest, it’s not easy to sum us up. We’re super savvy where it matters most. In our creative problem solving and digital expertise. Truly understanding Search Marketing is where we shine.

We’re an eclectic group of people who happen to really like each other. We’ve got all sorts of skills. We come from varying places with distinctly different personalities. And hey, all of that actually works in our favor in this business.

Because it’s not just code know-how that’s behind successful SEO.

And it’s not just managing bids that’s behind successful PPC.

It’s the person. And it’s the passion.

And boy do we have passion.

Not many people can say the following and mean it, but we truly live for what we do. It actually turns us on.

What else drives us?

Intellectual curiosity, sure. But also a competitive drive that rarely allows us to see our clients (or us) get beaten. We relish the toughest challenges and will never give up, to the point of being uncompromising, even obsessive.

We’re motivated by a simple and honest desire to be helpful and make a difference, too. We know that search results are ever-shifting, so we’re here to level the playing field.

To boot, up there with improving how much better they’re discovered on the web, is that look on a client’s face when they realize we truly care about them and their business. That we’re a partner who will go above, beyond, and anywhere else we have to go, to help them succeed. We recognize the never-ending marathon and pitfalls our clients face day-in, day-out – and, simply put, feel it’s our duty to hold their hand the whole way.

We’re sticklers for process. At the same time, we don’t have a set way of doing things. The right way is the one that works. If we’re sometimes unorthodox, it’s with good reason. And we’ve always got the data to back it up.

Being good at what we do, working as hard as we do and caring as much as we do culminates in a few things. Like thought leadership, best practice excellence, technical mastery, staying ahead of the curve and an unrelenting work ethic that’s second to none.

(But we’d never shout any of that out because it wouldn’t be us to.)

At the end of the day, we’re not just in this to get clients discovered in the search results.

We’re in it to help them stay there next time the protocols unexpectedly change.
